To execute the recommendations
of the II Vatican Council (Orientalium Ecclesiarum No.4 and Christus Drominus
No. 38),
and in compliance with Cannon
Law 84 P1 and 322 of the CCEO, the Catholic Patriarchs and Bishops of Egypt
reshuffled meetings of the Assembly of the Catholic Hierarchy of Egypt
(A.H.C.E.), while giving it a new statute that was approved by the Holy
See on October 3, 1992, sub. No. 7877/92.
